Loft Insulation
Improve the energy efficiency of your home
Reduce the amount of heating fuel you consume
How Does Loft Insualtion Work?
By installing Loft Insulation to the recommended level, you could be saving approximately £180 – £200 per year on energy bills.
Even if you’re not eligible for any government funding, your Loft Insulation could pay for itself within 2 -3 years and save you money on ever increasing energy bills.
“If you have a requirement to have any of the loft area floored, please speak to our surveyor, he will advise accordingly.”
We will determine the current depth of your loft insulation to ascertain whether you require a ‘top up’ or a ‘full loft installation’.
In order to do this we will need to have access to your loft area.
We will qualify any tanks and pipes that need Insulating, and any walk ways required to gain access to any live tanks or boilers. We also fit easy vents where required to the loft to allow ventilation in the loft space.
Loft insulation is fitted in-between your ceiling joists and then cross laid to bring your insulation up to the recommended depth.
Loft insulation usually takes approximately one hour to install but the time does depend on the size of the house and other factors, such as access. Our installers ALWAYS utilize dust sheets, and other floor protection to ensure that your floor and its coverings are fully protected.
